Wow, what a whirlwind! With the Outdoor Retailer 2011 Summer Market tradeshow now in the rearview mirror we thought we'd take a brief moment to reflect.
This year's show was one of the biggest ever with buyers, media, friends and fans packing the aisles over the four day show. The Gerber booth was no exception as we unveiled our new logo, updated booth and our 'Unstoppable' brand campaign. Naturally of course, a new website launched too and it's at this point where we'd like to say thanks for the team for making it all happen so fluidly.
Highlights from the event included packed meetings with key retail partners, numerous media line presentations, an expertly designed and executed photo booth, the Bear Grylls themed happy hour, complete with hissing cockroaches and skewered meal worms (yes, they were real folks), and a Compact Scout knife sale that will once again benefit the Boy Scouts of America. All in all time well spent and we look forward to doing it all over again!
