The editor's at Backpacker Magazine included the new Gerber Octane in the Essentials section of the 2010 Gear Guide which is on newsstands now. Given props for is compact size, the Octane "conceals tools that feel as sturdy and functional as the ones in your fix-it shed".
A good start for what promises to be a popular product with the media!
