Since it's launch, the Gerber Octane has been somewhat of a media darling with high volume publications, including Backpacker and Men's Journal featuring the tool, and bloggers and online media splashing the Octane across the social web.
That momentum is continuing this holiday season with a number of outdoor and mainstream online titles listing the Octane in their holiday gift guides. Most recently, Skiing Magazine.com included the Octane in its 'gifts for guys' round-up and Weight Watchers.com featured the tool in their 2010 Men's Holiday Gift Guide.
